Mt Annapurna is located at western part of Nepal. It is the most popular trekking site after Mt Everest in Nepal. The tip of Annapurna mountain is 7937 meters high above the sea level. The trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna massif, crossing Thorung La (5416 m), the highest pass on the trek touching the edge of Tibetan plateau.
